SUMMARY:FAIR Essentials workshop
DESCRIPTION:The FAIR Essentials workshop focuses on teaching you what FAIR 
 is and how to apply it to your research. The workshop will use a Problem B
 ased Learning (PBL) approach: we will build both a collective discussion o
 f what is actually FAIR and what it means to different disciplines. We wil
 l then integrate what we have learned collectively by making FAIR exercise
 s in break-out room sessions.\n\nThe participants will have a tutor availa
 ble to answer questions about the exercises. However\, it is up to the gro
 up to solve the exercises. At the end we will build a collective road-map 
 of FAIR points in a plenary session.\n\nLearning objectives:\n\n 	Get basi
 c theoretical knowledge about what is FAIR and how and if it could be appl
 ied to all scientific disciplines.\n 	Articulate benefits\, barriers and c
 hallenges in making data and other outputs FAIR.\n 	Learn collectively thr
 ough independent hands-on experience with techniques\, services and techno
 logies to make your data FAIR or help others make their data FAIR.\n 	Toge
 ther come up with a collective road-map of ideas on what it means to "be F
 AIR". This last objective will also be used to keep building and improving
  the course in the future.\n\nTarget group: Researchers of alle levels at 
 Maastricht University\n\nLanguage: English\n\nMaximum number of participan
