Participants can look forward to workshops\, keynote presentations\, interactive sessions\, and opportuniti es to connect with colleagues from both within and beyond the Open Science Community. Educators benefit from access to open edu cational resources\, while policymakers and the wider public gain better a ccess to knowledge\, enabling more informed decision-making and greater so cietal impact. The Barcelona Declaration is an international initiative that calls for greater transparency\, openness\, and inclusivity in the wa y research information is created\, shared\, and used. It promotes a shift away from closed\, proprietary systems towards open infrastructures that better support the values of Open Science. For UM\, signing the Declaratio n marks an important step in strengthening its commitment to Open Science and to responsible research assessment. The signing is preceded by a lectu re on Open Research Information by Ludo Waltman.
