 on]\n&nbsp\;\n\nABSTRACTS\n\nHACK YOUR TEACHING\nThis track provides the p
ractical skills needed to implement open education\, specifically through
identifying existing resources and developing new ones.\n\n\nMorning: crea
ting an Open Educational Resource yourself\nA practical workshop for peopl
e creating an Open Educational Resource yourself. An introduction to Open
Educational Resources\, featuring a case study from the Open Universiteit.
Following the presentation\, participants will work on developing a plan
for their own Open Educational Resources. This session focuses on moving f
rom theory to a concrete plan of action.\n\nAfternoon: finding and Sharing
existing Open Educational Resources\nA practical workshop for people sear
ching Open Educational Resource yourself. This practical workshop is desi
gned for educators who want to master the art of finding\, selecting and s
haring Open Educational Resources. Participants will leave the session wit
h a concrete search strategy and a tailored plan to integrate existing res
ources into their own curriculum.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDATA VOOR IEDEREEN! (being
aimed at citizens\, this track is in Dutch)\nBurgers in Limburg doen vaak
e komen.\n\nCitizens in Heerlen-Noord provide a lot of data about themselv
es and their neighbourhood. However\, despite the wealth of data they prod
uce\, they themselves do not have easy and accessible access to data about
their region. Initiatives such as Parkstad in Cijfers aim to remedy this\
, but their usability to non-academics leaves room for improvement (see ht
tps://parkstad.incijfers.nl/jive). The aim of this ideation session is to
explore with citizens what their desires and needs are when it comes to ac
cessing data about Heerlen-Noord. This session is in Dutch!\n\nOchtend: we
 e data verzamelen\, beheren\, of ontsluiten in/over Limburg\, zodat zij we
We verzamelen boven
dien de obstakels waar we tegenaan lopen en suggesties voor verbetering. D
eze koppelen we dan terug naar de organisaties waar het om gaat.\n\n&nbsp\
;\n\nSETTING YOURSELF UP FOR OPEN SCIENCE\nIn this track\, participants wi
ll be guided through setting up their online open science presence and can
try out their first open sciences practices. The aim of this track is to
gently introduce the participants to a set of basic Open Science principle
s\, concepts and practices\, and to support their first steps in Open Scie
nce with practical guidance.\n\nMorning: getting you your open science gea
r\nThe morning session will start with a brief overview of open science pr
inciples and practices\, after which we will together create an Open Resea
rcher and Contributor ID (ORCID)\; an Open Science Framework (OSF) account
 \; a Zenodo acount\; an OpenAlex account\; a Zotero account\; a Codeberg a
 ccount\; a Mastodon account\; and a CryptPad account. Of course\, we will
also explain what each of these services do\, how they can help you\, and
how to use them. This this session\, you’re set up for Open Science!\n\n
Afternoon: a flying start into open science\nAfter having set up a series
of accounts in the morning session\, in the afternoon session you will use
these to get a first open science task done. After a brief introduction o
f these activities\, you can choose what you want to work on. For example\
, you may want to start on a preregistration using the OSF\; or you may wa
nt to migrate from EndNote or Mendeley to Zotero\; or you may want to post
a preprint\; or you may want to create a simple website with a blog with
Codeberg\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nOPEN SCIENCE: ALL CARDS ON THE TABLE\nWould you lik
e to learn more about the ins and outs of open science? This is your chanc
 e. Or maybe you think know all there is to know about Open Science? Here i
s your chance to prove it.\n\nThese sessions are all about diving into the
world of Open Science in a fun\, interactive way. You will be thrown stra
ight into the action with escape rooms\, strategy games. Whether you love
a good board game night\, enjoy a trivia challenge\, or simply want to exp
erience something different\, you will feel right at home here.\n\nThe mor
ning session features a guided strategic card game exploring how Open Scie
nce works within a research team\, with other games available to explore a
t your own leisure. The afternoon ups the stakes with a guided immersive e
scape room on research data management\, again with room to branch out if
you are feeling adventurous. Some games are collaborative\, others will ha
ve you competing against fellow players\, but all of them will leave you w
ith practical insights into Open Science and\, hopefully\, some new connec
tions along the way.\n\nWhether you are a complete newcomer or a seasoned
Open Science practitioner\, there is a game at your level. All you need is
curiosity and an open mind. (Yes\, pun intended.)\n\nSee you at the table
.\n\nMorning: stacking the cards in your favour\nThe morning session featu
res a guided strategic card game exploring how Open Science works within a
research team\, with other games available to explore at your own leisure
.\n\nAfternoon: the big escape\nThe afternoon ups the stakes with a guided
immersive escape room on research data management\, again with room to br
anch out if you are feeling adventurous.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\
