Tugce Varol
Open Science Liaison FHML
I am a postdoctoral researcher at FHML, Department of Health Promotion. I hold a PhD in Health and Social Psychology, with expertise in developing systematic behavior change interventions addressing health and environmental challenges. My work is particularly grounded in the Intervention Mapping framework, which I use to translate behavioral science theory and evidence into theory- and evidence-based interventions. I am also an active member of the European Health Psychology Society (EHPS) Open Science Special Interest Group, where we contribute to organizing events on open science and conducting research on open science behaviors within health psychology. In addition, I am the co-founder of EMPOWER Network, a network for post-PhD early- to mid-career health psychology scholars. Through this initiative, we aim to support scholars in their career development, and wellbeing in academia.
