Leonardo Pimpini
Open Science Ambassador FPN
I am an assistant professor at the Faculty of Psychology & Neuroscience, specializing in daily life eating behaviours (smartphone EMA) and the neural representations of food (fMRI). In this role, I pursue two main goals: first, to promote open science practices (e.g., preregistration, open access, dissemination) among young colleagues and students, who represent the next generation of scientists. Second, to ‘demonstrate’ to some researchers that even highly experimental work — even fMRI studies— can be preregistered, and that doing so benefits the scientific community.
