I am a PhD Student at Maastro focused  on optimizing health communication with patients who have limited health literacy. I aim to improve the shared decision-making experience for patients by optimizing the risk communication strategies used in the BRASA patient decision aid, which is currently in use for breast cancer patients considering whether or not to undergo radiation therapy. In addition to my research, I regularly tutor for European Public Health and Health Sciences courses.
